SHIPPING POLICY

At The Restock, we aim to get your order to you as quickly as possible. Please read our shipping information carefully as delivery times vary depending on product availability.
1. SHIPPING LOCATIONS
We currently ship to addresses within the United Kingdom only.
This includes:
- England
- Scotland
- Wales
- Northern Ireland
We do not ship to:
- BFPO addresses
- PO boxes (Royal Mail PO boxes are accepted)
- International addresses
- Channel Islands or Isle of Man
2. DELIVERY TIMES
We operate two fulfilment methods depending on product availability:
UK STOCK (In Stock - Ships Fast)
Items marked as "In Stock" or "Ships from UK" are held at our UK warehouse.
- Processing: Dispatched within 72 hours (3 business days)
- Delivery: 2-3 business days after dispatch
- Total Time: 5-6 business days from order
Orders placed before 8pm (Monday-Friday) are typically dispatched the same day.
SOURCED STOCK (Pre-Order/Special Order)
Some items need to be sourced from our suppliers and may ship from overseas.
- Processing: 7-21 business days (depending on supplier)
- Delivery: 3-5 business days after dispatch to UK
- Total Time: 10-26 business days from order
Items requiring sourcing will be clearly marked on the product page as:
- "Pre-Order"
- "Ships in 2-3 weeks"
- "Extended delivery time"
- Or similar notification
3. HOW TO IDENTIFY SHIPPING TIMES
Before purchasing, check the product page for shipping information:
✓ "In Stock - Ships within 72 hours" = UK warehouse stock
✓ "Pre-Order" or "Ships in 2-3 weeks" = Sourced from supplier
✓ No notation = Assumed to be UK stock (72 hour dispatch)
If you're unsure about shipping times for a specific item, email hello@therestock.co.uk before ordering.
4. SHIPPING OPTIONS
STANDARD DELIVERY (Free on orders over £75)
- Cost: £4.99 (Free over £75)
- UK Stock: Dispatched within 72 hours + 2-3 days delivery = 5-6 days total
- Sourced Stock: 10-26 business days total
- Tracking: Provided
EXPRESS DELIVERY (UK Stock Only)
- Cost: £7.99
- Delivery: 1-2 business days after dispatch
- Dispatch: Within 72 hours
- Available for UK stock items only
- Not available for pre-order or sourced items
- Tracking: Provided
Orders placed before 8pm Monday-Friday are typically dispatched the same day.
Orders placed after 8pm or on weekends will be dispatched within 72 hours (3 business days).
5. PROCESSING TIMES
UK Stock Items:
- Maximum dispatch time: 72 hours (3 business days)
- Orders before 8pm (Mon-Fri): Usually same day dispatch
- Orders after 8pm: Dispatched within 72 hours
- Weekend orders: Dispatched within 72 hours (by Tuesday/Wednesday)
- Bank holidays: May extend processing by 1 day
Sourced Items:
- Processing begins immediately upon order
- Sourcing from supplier: 7-21 days
- You will receive updates via email when your order progresses
- Tracking provided once dispatched to UK
6. ORDER TRACKING
All orders include free tracking.
UK Stock Orders:
- You will receive a dispatch confirmation email within 72 hours
- Email contains your tracking number and courier link
- Track your order via the courier's website
Sourced Orders:
- You will receive an "Order Confirmed" email immediately
- You will receive a "Dispatch Notification" email when shipped from supplier (7-21 days)
- Final tracking number provided when order reaches UK
Allow 24 hours after dispatch for tracking information to update.
7. MIXED ORDERS (UK Stock + Sourced Items)
If your order contains both UK stock and sourced items:
Option 1: Split Shipment (Default)
- UK stock items ship within 72 hours
- Sourced items ship separately when available (7-21 days)
- You receive two separate shipments
- No additional shipping charges
Option 2: Hold Until Complete
- Email hello@therestock.co.uk after ordering
- We will hold your entire order until all items are available
- Everything ships together
- May delay UK stock items by 7-21 days
We recommend split shipments so you receive UK stock items quickly.
8. 72-HOUR DISPATCH GUARANTEE (UK Stock Only)
All UK stock items are guaranteed to be dispatched within 72 hours (3 business days) of your order being placed.
This guarantee applies to:
- All items marked "In Stock"
- Orders placed any day of the week
- Standard and Express delivery options
This guarantee does NOT apply to:
- Pre-order or sourced items
- During force majeure events (see section 25)
If we fail to dispatch your UK stock order within 72 hours, contact hello@therestock.co.uk for a shipping refund.
9. DELIVERY DELAYS
While we guarantee dispatch within 72 hours for UK stock, delivery times can be affected by:
- Courier delays
- Extreme weather conditions
- Supplier delays (for sourced items)
- Customs clearance (for items entering UK)
- Peak periods (Black Friday, Christmas, sales)
- Circumstances beyond our control
We are not liable for delivery delays caused by the courier after dispatch.
If your order is significantly delayed, contact hello@therestock.co.uk and we will investigate.
10. SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your order total.
11. UNDELIVERED PARCELS
If your parcel is not delivered:
Step 1: Check Tracking
- Use the tracking number in your dispatch email
- Check if delivery was attempted or if there are any issues
Step 2: Check Safe Places
- Check with neighbours
- Check communal areas or reception
- Check your letterbox for a "Sorry We Missed You" card
Step 3: Contact the Courier
- Most delivery issues can be resolved by contacting the courier directly
- Tracking details include courier contact information
Step 4: Contact Us
If the parcel cannot be located after 5 business days from expected delivery date:
- Email hello@therestock.co.uk with your order number
- We will open an investigation with the courier
- If the parcel is confirmed lost, we will send a replacement or issue a full refund
12. FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS
If the courier cannot deliver your parcel:
- You will receive a notification card or email from the courier
- The parcel will be held at a local depot for collection
- Collection period: Typically 10-14 days
- After this period, the parcel is returned to us
If your parcel is returned to us due to failed delivery:
- We will contact you to arrange redelivery
- Redelivery shipping costs (£4.99) will apply
- If you do not respond within 7 days, we will issue a refund minus original shipping costs
13. INCORRECT ADDRESS
You are responsible for providing the correct delivery address.
If you provide an incorrect address:
- We cannot redirect parcels once dispatched
- If the parcel is returned to us, you must pay redelivery costs (£4.99)
- We are not responsible for lost parcels due to incorrect addresses
Check your delivery address carefully before completing your order.
To update your address after ordering:
- Email hello@therestock.co.uk immediately
- Include your order number
- We can only change addresses if your order hasn't been dispatched
14. SIGNATURE REQUIRED
Most deliveries do not require a signature.
Couriers may:
- Leave parcels in a safe place
- Leave with a neighbour
- Require signature for high-value orders (over £150)
If you require signature confirmation, email hello@therestock.co.uk after ordering.
15. CUSTOMS AND IMPORT DUTIES
For UK orders, there are no customs charges or import duties.
For sourced items entering the UK from overseas:
- All customs duties and import charges are paid by us
- No additional charges will be applied to your order
- Customs clearance may add 3-5 days to delivery time for sourced items
16. PEAK PERIOD SHIPPING
During peak periods (Black Friday, Christmas, January Sales):
- Our 72-hour dispatch guarantee still applies for UK stock
- Courier delivery times may increase by 1-2 days
- Sourced items may take 3-4 weeks instead of 2-3 weeks
- We will notify you of any expected delays
We recommend ordering early during peak periods.
17. BUSINESS DAYS
Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding:
- UK bank holidays
- Christmas closure period (Dec 24-26)
- New Year's Day
Our 72-hour guarantee counts business days only.
Example: Order placed Friday 6pm = dispatched by Wednesday (72 business hours)
18. ORDER CONFIRMATION
You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after purchase.
This confirms:
- Your order has been received
- Payment has been processed
- Your order number for reference
- Expected dispatch timeframe
If you don't receive this email within 1 hour:
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Email hello@therestock.co.uk with your order details
19. CANCELLING SHIPPED ORDERS
Once your order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
You must:
- Receive the order
- Follow our Returns & Refunds Policy to return items

20. DAMAGED PARCELS
If your parcel arrives damaged:
- Take photos of the packaging and any damaged items
- Email hello@therestock.co.uk within 48 hours with:
- Your order number
- Photos of damage
- Description of the issue
- We will arrange for a replacement or full refund
Do not discard damaged packaging until your claim is resolved.
21. TRACKING NOT UPDATING
If your tracking hasn't updated:
- Allow 24 hours after dispatch for initial update
- Some tracking only updates at major checkpoints
- For UK stock: Contact the courier after 5 days
- For sourced stock: Email us after 10 days
We will investigate and provide updates.
22. DELIVERY TO SCOTLAND, WALES & NORTHERN IRELAND
We ship to all UK regions at the same rates.
Please note:
- Remote areas may experience additional 1-2 day delays
- Highlands and Islands deliveries may take 3-5 business days
- Sourced items may take slightly longer to reach remote areas
- Our 72-hour dispatch guarantee still applies
23. CHANGE OF DELIVERY ADDRESS
To change your delivery address after ordering:
- Email hello@therestock.co.uk immediately
- Include your order number and new address
- We can only update addresses before dispatch
- Once dispatched, we cannot redirect parcels
24. NOTIFICATION PREFERENCES
You will receive email updates for:
- Order confirmation
- Dispatch notification (within 72 hours for UK stock)
- Tracking information
- Delivery confirmation (if provided by courier)
Ensure hello@therestock.co.uk is in your safe senders list.

26. FORCE MAJEURE
We are not liable for shipping delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters
- Pandemics or public health emergencies
- Strikes or industrial action
- Government restrictions
- War or terrorism
- Severe weather
In such cases, we will keep you informed and do our best to fulfill your order as soon as possible.
